Clam Spaghetti Sauce with Mushrooms

 
Ingredients -

2 cans White Clam Sauce (10 1/2 ounces)
2 cans Minced Clams, (6 1/2 ounces), drained
2 jars Sliced Mushrooms (4.5 ounces)
Juice of one Fresh Lemon
1 package Spaghetti, (12 ounces)

White Sauce:
4 tablespoon Salted Butter
4 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Coarse Salt
1/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
2 cups Whole Milk

 
Preparation:

1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.

2. Blend in the flour, salt and pepper.

3. Cook the mixture until it is smooth and bubbly over low heat.

4. Remove the pan from the heat.

5. Gently stir in the whole milk.

6. Boil, constantly stirring, for one minute.

7. Add the mushrooms, clams and clam sauce.

8. Add lemon juice to taste.

9. Serve over cooked spaghetti.
