1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until done and the meat is no longer pink.
2. Drain the excess fat and discard.
3. Cook the garlic, onion and beef over medium heat in a Dutch oven.
4. Add the next six ingredients to the Dutch oven.
5. Stir in the cooked sausage.
6. Bring the mixture to a boil.
7. Turn the temperature to low and simmer for 2 hours, occasionally stirring.
8. Add the fresh parsley and oregano.
9. Stir to combine.
10. Serve over hot cooked pasta. |
