1. Preheat a skillet with olive oil.
2. Season the ground beef and ground pork with salt, chopped onion, egg, chopped bell pepper and garlic.
3. Shape the meat into golf ball sized meatballs.
4. Roll the balls in flour and brown in the prepared skillet.
5. Drain the oil from the skillet and discard.
6. Add the spaghetti sauce, mix, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, mushrooms and the prepared meatballs.
7. Mix thoroughly.
8. Lower the temperature and let the mixture simmer for 2 to 2-1/2 hours. |
